it you do this for a long time it will definitely make you mal nourished. you need fresh veggies and fruits, too, for the nutrients and the fiber. probably need a little more protein than you would be getting with that diet, as well. do a little more research and come up with something that will give you mouth some variety and keep you healthy and energized. it is hard to decide what to do, sometimes, but maybe just replace part of your meals with the milk and cereal, and have a good breakfast or lunch (don't usually want the big meal at the end of the day where you might not work off the calories before bed) good luck

if you are already over weight why don't you eat a lot of fresh veggies, fruit, and drink a lot of water you could eat meats also like broiled skinless chicken breast small in size, broiled fish salmon or tuna stay away from white breads and other white starches start walking a couple miles a day stay away from soda ,juices, and any other sugar drinks drink lots of water and do some exercises also and if you do this on a regular basics you will see a difference in your appearance and weight you have got to do this longer than a week it will take up to a year in some cases but you have got to want to lose the weight

Not necessarily.
I had cornies (with a banana) for years and I'm still skinny.
What makes you store fat is not being able to turn it into energy.
Many things impinge on this, but overeating, sedentary habits, DNA, etc. all have their impact.
One of the most significant factors in today's obesity situation is the over use of manufactured sugars. Only a few products on the supermarket shelves do not have heaps of either cane/beet sugar or some form of liquid glucose product in them.
These manufactured sugars do a poor job of supplying your liver with Fructose, which is required for the process of converting the sugars into glycogen for storage in the liver. In the absence of Fructose, the body stores the sugars as fat, resulting in a decrease of energy being available in the body.
Being short of energy, your body cries out for more food. On and on it goes.
Make sure you diet is long on natural fruit sugars and honey. By and large the rest will look after itself, unless of course, (back to opening paragraphs) you either eat far too much or are too lazy.
Cheers.

Why on earth would that make you fat? It's way healthier than many other meal options! Just make sure you have a few fruits and veggies during the day. You'll drop pounds in no time! Good luck!

Depends on the size of the bowl you put it all in and how many bowls you have. ;)
You're body needs other things besides what cornflakes and milk can give you though...but hey, you wanna just eat that go ahead, make sure you take multivitamins though.

It probably won't make you fat, but you will become malnourished. You have to have some sort of fruits and vegetables in your diet also in order to get the proper vitamins and minerals.

it would certainly make you malnourished
best way to lose weight is to consume 250 calories less per day AND to burn 250 calories per day by aerobic exerices while still maintaining a balanced diet (reducing calories by 500 per day)
if you do this, you should lose 1 pound per week........3500 calories equal one pound
Also, if you find that you love foods high in carbs, try the South Beach Diet..its tough at first but really does work
