I know you are not alone. The Beatles are as important today as they were when they were actively recording music.It is impossible to pick one favorite song as almost all their songs are brilliant and timeless. The key factor lies in the songwriting of two geniuses being in the same group. You have the infectious breezy melodies of McCartney and the deep groundbreaking songs of Lennon.That is not to undermine the talent of Harrison who wrote so many great songs in his own right. Ringo was the perfect drummer for this group. His drumming sounds simple but was very innovative and original. These four people balanced each other perfectly, as musicians and personalities. John was the brain. Paul was the heart. George was the spirit and Ringo was the flesh and blood. To pick one favorite song is to trivialize the amazing body of work that is THE BEATLES. There will never be another phenomenom like them!

I LOVE the Bealtes...of course you're not alone! they're (were?)the best band EVER. I recently got a beatles song book, and now i can play the songs on the piano. I really like "yesterdsay," "here comes the sun," and "revolution." It's great to see another fan out there!
