If you're on a MAC with OS 9.2.1 or less, Menu>control Panels>TCP/IP
for manual setup, or ControlPanels>date and time, and set for automatic in the Server box.

Linux, MacOSX/BSD all auto setup...

But, can be manually set...

We just don't know what you have, because, you're so computer 'challenged', right now, and we'd really like to help you catch up and learn!

In fact, most all of us weren't born with computer science degrees tucked into our diapers!

So, what you want described and fixed takes a tiny bit of time from a local techie, or geek. Find one, feed him/her some good food, lots of cola, or juices, and cultivate that apprenticeship that will leave YOU to be the wise one in your crowd!
