hi i bought my ipod video bout few weeks back and have barely used it. the place didnt hv extra peices and so i bought the piece that they used for the customers to try. it was like kept for show so that any one can come try it. it was in a good condition. i asked them and they said that it had been there only for like a week or two. lets say even if it was for a month. do u think it would affect my battery ?? ?? maybe it was kept on the whole day .. so u think it would less the battery life ?? please let me know

I'm not sure if it will lessen your battery life or not, but I've heard that if you let the battery drain completely at least once a month, it will make the battery last longer. However, if you have any doubts, I think most Apple stores sell replacement batteries.
