Average here is around $4-$6 for males. They are beautiful fish. Mine jumps up out of the water at meal time when I dangle the food container at the rim of his vase to feed him. Now I wait for him to jump before I feed him! It doesnt take him long to spot his meal and up he jumps. Just be sure to not fill your container too full or he might jump out. My water is about an inch to inch and a half from the top. They have personality, beauty....and they are social. Mine is on the end table in the living room and whoever sits beside the table has a fish watching them with his face to the glass and his tail wagging lol.

relies upon the position you stay and the save! an generic mutt veiltail Betta (we call them Bettas right here and its Siamese scuffling with Fish, no longer eastern), is going to be the equivalent of £3-£5. For something somewhat fancier like a staggering Crowntail or significant Plakat they're going to ask for extra.

They are pretty cheap ... should be able to find them for around 5 bucks, they are Cool Critters, we've had one about 8 months now.

why pay 3-4 usd at lfs.
