I'll go with Peter Crouch. But there are other good choices, such as Carlitos Tevez, Ribery, Ronaldinho...

Who cares. They are participating in the WC not a Beauty Pageant. People look as far as Ribery's scar and go eewww. I am sure he is more grateful that he has his life after that accident almost claimed it. My gosh I cannot believe how shallow this question is. There is far more to a person than looks. Character, morals and decency. Far more important qualities. Beauty shines from the inside out not the outside in.

they may not have the looks but the players some of you have singled out here - ronaldinho, ribery, and crouch - these guys play great football. that's the only thing i really care about and it's not nice to call them names just because you think you're better looking. question is, can you even do half of what these guys are capable of out there on the pitch? these guys are world class athletes and their dazzling display of skills is what makes football such a joy to watch. if a player is as good looking as he is a good footballer then that's just a bonus, isn't it? many of you disparage ronaldinho for his looks but everytime i see him do his fancy footwork and score those unbelievable goals, he becomes in the eyes the most beautiful player i've ever seen and there's no one who can convince me otherwise.

most of the English team, esp. Rooney. And, sorry, I have to say, Ronaldiho is pretty ugly...with all the money, why couldn't he at least get his teeth fix? That is the same thing goes with the Ronaldo (his gap tooth). Few players from Italy are both dirty and ugly players.

It is Ribery. When Paul Scholes played for England, he was the ugliest.
