i recently had to buy a new a/c unit. The owner told my wife and I the 2 1/2 ton 14 seer unit he had would save 30% in electric bills. My bill only shows a 2% savings. How should I handle this with the a/c company?

u have to look at the bill and check the multiplier per kw......summer months it goes up and so does ur bill.......u have to take a average after a yr.....and the 30% means not for ur whole bill, but 30% less energy to run ur unit!! there is the savings.......

It has been extremely hot, have you taken that into consideration?
