to stare down other women when he is with his wife. My husband does it all the time, especially checking out their butts. When we go out to dinner, he hardly makes conversation unless I start it, cause he is to busy looking..~~~ Why is this? Isn't this disrespectful to me, and himself. It really hurts. :-(

I have called him on it several times in 14 yrs, he claims he isn't looking, or that he is not aware that he is doing it! Yeah Right!

You know the answer to this. It is wrong for him to be checking out other women especially if he is with you. You should know if it is disrespectful to you. If you don't, then maybe that's why he continues to do it. It's not disrespectful to him. He doesn't care. But if you've allowed it for 14 years, then it's kind of late to be complaining about it. You should leave him and if he really wants you back, then he will have to make you the only woman he has eyes for. If he doesn't then you're better off.

You might be reading more into this than is necessary. Men are visual, women are touch. Of course it pisses you off when he eyes other women, you would be stupid not to worry. But most of the time a man is just looking, he see's visaul stimulization and gets a quick thrill out of it. This does not mean he is a cheating bastard( tho sometimes that is the case) but that he appreciates the female form! Be glad of this since it's better than him not liking it! LOL! What you need to do is start your own fan club! See an attractive man... turn and give him the scan.... Show your husband that you are not DEAD either and that you have attractions too! If he gives you the Biz over this remind him that he does this all the time to you and that turn about is fair play! If it bothers him so much then he knows now exactly how you feel when its done in your presense. He will soon learn to control his roving eye.. or wear wrap around sunglasses!! LOL!

I think it is natural, up to a point, for men to look at other women. I admit that I look at other men. However, it sounds like your husband is way over the line and it is very disrespectful to you. Have you tried showing him what it's like? When you are with him, spend your time looking at other men. Make him understand and maybe he can improve...good luck.

I think you should give him a taste of his own medicine. Next time you look the other way at someone, and see how he takes it. If he gets angry then tell him, Well how do you think I feel when you do it to me. This should give him a different outlook on the situation.

I think it is disrespectful. I think everyone looks, I know I look sometimes, and my husband does too. The thing is, I told my husband, if you are going to look, don't be so blatant about it. I think if a man is looking, he should do it descreetly so that his woman doesn't know, and the woman he is looking at doesn't know too. I say if you've told him this, and he knows it hurts, maybe you should just get your stare on too, maybe that will get his attention!

I think it may be time to ask him to go see a marriage counselor with you. He is obviously not listening to you. It is very disrespectful, especially if you have told him to stop because it bothers you.

You're right! It is VERY disrepectful. And if the other girls are aware of it - and I can't imagine that none of them are - it would be a bit embarrassing for them.
You need marriage counseling.

its very disrespectful to do it in front of you if he was by himself starring at girl that pass by whatever and if he did it once in awhile not knowingly when he was with you okay but for him to always do it thats just wrong......dont go out with him anymore till he learns how to behave
