the thing on the left (or top) is the Harf Drive that is only 13GB, not 20 like they tell you.
I think if you like games and have a couple hundred dollars you should
the PS3 cost $100-200 more and nowadays it takes a while for a new console to be in stock and to build a good game library
the HDD on the premium is nice if you want to rip CD's, download videos from XBM, or even game demo's and XBLA games
Plus the XBL integration into the games is top notch and online games like COD2 are great ways to burn hours of time
here are some things to consider before you buy:
=the wireless controllers run through batteries like crazy, a rechargeable battery and charger are $19
=the ethernet cord is about 10 feet long, and it have to reach from the back of your 360 to your wireless router/modem
you could buy a longer wire if you need or a wireless add-on for $70-90.
and a warning
DO NOT TILT YOUR 360 WHILE A DISK IS SPINNING, IT WILL PUT A CIRCLE OF SCRATCHES AND YOUR DISK WILL BE WORTHLESS

enjoy!
