You can get high lift bleach, but if you have black hair then I suggest you have it professionally bleached. I do not suggest you try it on your own, like the people above me said, it will most definitely turn orange if you do not know what you are doing.

Ugly, copper like orange. But if you go to a reputable salon & be patient, a stylist can gradually lighten your hair up for you and do it so as not to damage your hair or turn it orange. But also keep in mind the upkeep and maintenance! Good Luck!

When it comes to bleaching hair I would strongly advise having a professional do it. It can be costly but if it goes wrong it will cost you more to have it fixed and your hair will suffer in the process, not to mention how you might feel if you end up with disastrous results!

it has to be done properly..if done properly it will be blonde..i have dark brown hair and i did bleach blonde streaks
