Is this normal?

I'm 18 and sometimes i cry for no reason. Is this normal. Serious answers please. Thanks

hormones can make us do some strange things, especially being female. If it gets to be a problem where you can't function daily see a doctor it may be depression or anxiety.

It could be cause by a number of things:

1: Hormones. Is your period normal? You might want to have your hormone levels checked by your doctor. These can SERIOUSLY effect moods.

2: Does your family have a history of depression? If so, you might be on the verge of going into clinical depression. Again, a talk with your doctor can help you resolve this.

3: Stress? Are you under an extreme amount of stress that you have not been under before?

4: Sleep. Are you getting enough sleep?

All of those things could be responsible for your crying. Really, though, I'd probably have a sit down with my doctor and see what the most likely cause is.

you might have a deeper problem that you just cant notice.

gosh i wish i could just randomly cry like that lol. i think i have a lack of hormones or something. lol
crying feels good, except i never do and i miss the days when i was a kid and would cry when i was sad.

now i just act all quiet and reserved.

I think that this a normal. People go through strange, unexplainable phases all the time. It'll pass dont worry about it.
