Made the mistake of laying about $400 on a counter next to a cash register while Christmas shopping one year, and turned to check out the sale bin behind me, just for a few seconds.....funny, no one saw the money, especially the checker, who was done with her shift.....
A lesson learned, the hard way!

$350,000. Sued by former employer for breach of contract.
Lawyer decided to settle (poor decision as it turns out).
Lousy settlement that haunts me to this day...
