There are many reasons why women decide to get implants.
Some women are not happy with their breasts. They think they are too small or perhaps, they don't have the shape they want. This feeling can occur in young women who have not given birth to children and it can occur in older women or women who have given birth. Or, perhaps women need it for their profession to make them look sexier. Whether it be a porn star, stripper, or, Jessica Simpson or Brittany Spears.
Whatever the reason, women are not happy with how their breasts look so they get an augmentation or lift. The operation makes them feel better about their appearance and more sexy.
Think of it kind of like dieting? Why does a woman diet in order to lose weight? Because they look better and feel better about themselves and that makes anyone more confident and successful.
I wouldn't judge it. Just remember, you can't love another unless you love yourself.

Most women get their breasts done because they feel like their own is too small. The media presents women as these huge-breasted people and they broadcast that if you don't have this size of boobs then your not attractive.

As a man, my point of view is limited, but I can say that I dont understand it either. And (dare I say), its not that I am not into breasts, but why would you do it to yourself? I have a freind who's partner has had over 68 seperate "enhancement procedures", why? In this case I am almost sure it was/is because of her own self esteem issues. I want to be wrong about saying that, but ya know I dont think so... And its sad.

.Well there are plenty of reasons why women do this vanity for one, men like women with big breast. Lack of self esteem or self confidence or they just want bigger breast who knows why they do this.
I guess men are partly to blame, but then women like to look good because you are judged by the way you look and not what is in your heart unfortunately.

other than for a good reason like u said cancer... because of looks... one day it'll pop like a water balloon and they have less breast to start out with like Micheal Jackson had a nose and now where is it?

The same reason people get tattoos, to improve their self image. The guys being attracted are a bonus. Personally I prefer smaller busted women.

Not because of low self esteem, that is such a funny theory!!!
I do not want them I like the way my boobies look. But if I did I would get them because I wanted to, or I liked the way they looked to me, I would do it for me not others.
I think it is simply just because they want to. Just like someone wanting to travel or to buy a certain car, etc. Whatever they want to do.

Because some of them are flat chested & they don't want to spend the rest of their lives having the chest of a 10 year old boy.Duh.....

People it from plastic surgeons because sometime they feel like there breasts aren't big enough.
