I only occassionally use dryer sheets, it seems like when I use them my clothes get spotted. Are there any other options? The box suggested to rewash the clothes if spotting occurs, but this doesn't work.

I've never heard of dryer sheets putting spots on clothes but I guess they can or the box wouldn't have a warning. Well what I would do is change dryer sheets to a different brand my mom has used BOUNCE dryer sheets for as long as I can remember. Try those we've never had a problem with them causing spots... good luck

Yes, dryer sheets sometimes can cause spotting on some materials. You might try liquid fabric softener because it is dispersed evenly throughout the rinse water.

I use dryer sheets for years.. and never had that situation... You may have something in your dryer that it is picking up or something on the clothing that spotted when dried...

Yes, I have had this happen too.

Try not using a whole sheet, I only use a third of one and it works just as well and I don't seem to get the spots.

Yes-use a brand name and not the cheapo kind...put a spot remover spray on the spots and wash again
