Please do whatever you can to stay away from taking out a payday loan. They will suck you down into a bottomless pit that is very, very difficult to get out of. I'm embarrassed to say this, but at one time I had FIVE of those bad boys - at $300 each! It was a trip to hell and back trying to get them paid off. I've heard of people who had eight or more. Please stay away. It's like flushing your money down the toilet.
