There isn't a "best age". You should start having sex when you are emotionally ready to commit yourself to one partner and responsible enough to protect yourself from diseases and making babies. I'd say anything younger than 16 is too young.

Don't listen to all of these people who are actually giving you ages because there is no set age. The best time is when you are fully ready both mentally and emotionally. Ask yourself if you can handle all of the consequences that come with having sex such as STD's and pregnancy but also feeling guilty after you do it. If you know you can handle all of these things then you are ready to have sex. People who say you should wait until marriage could be right. You may not be ready until you get into marriage but some people in a marriage still aren't ready to handle a child so they are not completely ready. You will know when you are ready and until then don't do anything you would regret. I hope this helps.

ok let's be real this is 2006 no one wait's till their married to have sex anymore so i wish people just let that **** go...but n-e-way i say wait till it's with that special guy...and make sure he really loves you then it will be a good experience especially if he's a virgin too...but don't do it till your like 16 or 17, cuz if you do it at a young age people are going to be like your a hooooooooe!!!! It trust guy's like it when girls wait a long time to break their virginity

When you can handle all the conesquences without having a panic attack. If you need to ask the for the best age, chances are you are too young anyway.
