For summer viewing imo there are only two good shows: Entourage and Rescue Me. Rock Star: Supernova and Treasure Hunters are kinda fun to watch, but not must see TV.

1- curb your enthusiam
tie 2- Frontline and Nova
4- the shield
5 - entourage
6- the office (US)
7- sopranos
8- sports center
everything else on tv is crap

a good tv show is something that you can relate with and can make watching worth it!
i would have to say reality-based TV shows are great (survivor, amazing race, rock star, american idol, etc)

the closer. it sets it self apart from other crime shows because the lead character, brenda johnson, who is played by kyra sedgwick is a very interesting and multi layered person. She's fun to watch because one minutes she's stepping on EVERYBODY's toes to solve a crime, and the next she's about to crumble under the weight of personal issues. she's funny, yet powerful. some of the episodes don't focus too much on the crimes, but also her personsl life. although , other episodes, however, present an engaging mystery.
catch it mondays on TNT.

what do you like to watch. I watch disney channel: sister sister, suite life of zack and cody, thats so raven, phil of the future, lizzie mcguire. on nickolodean I like Drake & Josh, Spongebob depending on my mood (if you're in a mood for weird noises and random comments =), and Full House (on nick at nite).
