The real answer is that Scifi and USA are both owned by NBC Universal. When the WWE announced that they would bring ECW back, NBCU looked for a network that puts up lousy ratings and that is the Scifi network. They also did it to attract younger viewers to Scifi considering the average Scifi watcher is 48 years old.

maybe that the only network they could fit ecw in....im pretty sure they would made it two hours but scifi only gave them one........

i'm bored with listening to approximately Batista. He thinks he's THE ROCK! Batista have been given KOed via Mark Henry. Rushed to the wellbeing midsection. same reason that Smackdown is on UPN or is it the WB, or maybe the CB??? ehhh I digress, basically cause they (WWE) doesn't wanna pay to put it on a decent network untill they know if it's good enough(which it isn't)
