When I gave my wife a 3-diamond anniversary ring for our 10th anniversary at a nice bed and breakfast, was it wrong of me to think I might get a hummer in return? That's all men really want for their wedding anniversaries, blow jobs.

Thank you for that wonderful post - this is the best laugh I've had all day! :)

No, it wasn't wrong of you to *hope*, but if you got irritable with her because you didn't get your anniversary hummer, that would be wrong. Women don't feel obligated to 'perform' after receiving jewelry. Or dinner. Even if you take us to a movie first. ;)

Happy Anniversary!

i imagine I take exhilaration in plant life maximum because it shows someone knows that i love plant life and sees me as female. rings is impressive if its my style, yet there is not any longer something worse than getting rings it really is not any longer my style and is, rather, some different person's style. i do not somewhat see candies as a tremendous modern from someone who's a boyfriend. they're foodstuff and they are brown, and they are sugary. i love a sturdy chocolate, yet i do not see them as present textile from a boyfriend. perchance its because they look to assert, "it really is a few foodstuff. I wager you'll love foodstuff." or "it really is a few sweet, Little lady." the guy's earnings and the relationship are factors. If a staggering-wealthy individual you've been going out with for 2 years can grant plant life and under no circumstances something else it sends a foul signal. on the different hand, if a staggering-wealthy individual is often procuring you rings there is something below impressive or particular about that too. in case you've merely been going out with someone for a short time plant life are appropriate. rings ought to be too a lot and too extraordinary and an illustration that the guy did not recognize what develop into perfect. commonly, even if, I notably a lot do enroll in "its the concept that counts".

Ummm, NO! A gift is a gift! The giver should never expect anything in return.

That said, if you are unhappy with your sex life or lack there of, you should talk to your wife about it. Getting the opinion of a bunch of people you don't even know is one of the quickest ways to ruin a marriage!

LOL you are soooo bad. What men want and what we want are sometimes different. Why didn't you get a card that mentioned a hummer for your 10th? Hehehehehe

Perhaps your wife isn't as dumb as you think she is and perhaps she knew you only gave her the diamonds in order to get a b j, that your motivation for it was NOT love or the desire to show her how much she means to you. So perhaps in order to get back at you for being an insensitive jerk she chose not to oblige.

I definately think you deserved the hummer. It's a shame as wives we wait for a special occassion.

no! lol......women work on a reward system, if you think more about what she wants she will defiantly think more about what you want. my boyfriend did not want to go to the baseball game, in saint louis it is hard to get cardinal tickets, it was hot and he was tired from work, he went anyway because i begged him. later on that evening he was rewarded if you know what i mean.
