From what I remember (and my details may be a bit off): there were two mice, a boy and a girl, and the girl was a ballerina. The devil wanted her to dance for him in Hell, but she didn't want to go. There was a fox who would pop out of the ground with a lectern and gavel. And when the two mice were in a movie theatre, the devil came after them, crashing through the ceiling and they ran. That's all I remember, and I must have seen it in the early or mid-80s. And I have no idea of the title. Anyone know this movie?

Yes, it could have been late 70's--I saw it on TV, not in the theater, in the early or mid-80's.

could it be the rescuers? I did not see it, but I remember that the book for it had 2 mice and the girl mouse was in a pink skirt.

There is no Disney animated feature with this story. The closest you get with two mice is The Rescuers, but that's not it.

Wow, that sounds like one messed up movie. I suspect it is not a Disney, and I also imagine it is pre 1980's, it almost sounds like something out of the late '70's era of animation.
