I don't really know of any that I could recrommend. I would advise you to go with something that your comfortable in doing. Something that makes you feel very confident in your performance. You'll probably want to pick something dramatic and serious for a mystery type play.

Normally what they look for the most in auditions is confidence and someone who can rehearse their performance and perform it without a mistake.

Oh, there's millions. I suggest something from Romeo and Juliet. Do it right and you're a shoe-in.

Try the ballroom scene, where Juliet first sees Romeo. Something about "Were it not for this kind mask a maiden blush would caress my cheeks."
