I have recently been on holiday to Greece and whilst on holiday i suffered heat stroke and breathing difficulties, along with a very bad cough, I also received 40-60 mosquito bites.

The day i came back i went to the doctors for a check up and i was told that i was suffering from a chest infection or a viral infection so i was placed on antibiotics for a week. I have also since coming back from Greece been suffering from severe headaches, pains in my neck and a cold. After i completed the course of antibiotics my chest finally settled down and returned to normal and my cough has since gone, but all my other symptoms still remain. About 3-4 days ago i noticed that both my hands as well as between my fingers and mainly my index fingers have been peeling.

Can anybody please give me any information or any help?

Thanx very much.

hopefully the doctor gave you antibiotics for the chest infection, not for the virus. the virus will stay with you and run its course.

did you get into any chemical or food that might cause an allergic reaction? reason I ask, when i go fishing, my fingers tend to begin to peel. a friend, who is a marine biologist, said his fingers do the same thing, due to an allergy to fish slime.

i used to have this identical drawback whilst i used to be within the fifth and sixth grades. i'm nonetheless no longer definite what precipitated it, however i think it was once an hypersensitivity. for me, it occurred within the fall each instances, so i puzzled approximately the falling leaves, as i raked and performed in them and stuff. they might peel and itch like CRAZY, and my fingers and bottoms of toes regarded just about red because of the "hard" epidermis having peeled off. my health care provider gave me a few lotions to position on them to heal, even though I am no longer definite that it quite helped. then it might depart as mysteriously because it got here. my bet is it is an hypersensitivity, see your dr to get a few meds.
