that's a myth, the US did NOT send aid to Israel until after 1967...the SAME amount it sends to Egypt, to this day-

isreal is an allied of the u.s for the most part and any country that threatens an allied country will be challanged . remember kuwait.
the other thing is israel hasnt been picking fights they are retaliating.
israel is be threatend with destruction just becuase of their religion. they are christians and the countries that want to destroy isreal are prodimanately muslim. the us has promised they will not forsake israel and regardless of the political party in office we will always back a friendly nation over hostile nations.

because egypt failed. But generally i would say the support of Isreal started after all the jewish people in america became "white" . Read Kath watson book on how they became "one of americans" after the war and a majority in american political society. Remember this is a scholastic book not a politically motivated screed that's full of coulteresque mad lying rhetorics.

I'm not sure that's true, but the answer would be that each time, no matter how bad Israel was, the countries it was fighting were acting worse.

2) they are a DEMOCRACY which counts for a lot in the middle east
3) they dont harbor terrorists
4) technologically advanced
5) huge lobbying group in dc (aipac)
6) we need an ally in the mideast
