I go to a country where non of the food grown is sprayed. i.e. organic. There is no such thing as organic in this country. Windd! I stay where there are few cars and little pollution. No factories for eg. I SMOKE, ADMITTADELY NOT FAGS. ROLL UP TOBACCO, AND DRINK LIKE A FISH. and yet, when I get back here after five months in lets say the developed world, I feel the chemical in even the fresh food....I always cook from scratch. I feel stale and ill for weeks. So, get rid of the cars, get rid of bloody pre pack m and s foodstuffs for the working mothers to deaden their children on that sort of diet, (now they do t.v. programmes on it, but my family known all our lives. It is so obvious. Addatives in food are chemical....get more nutrition from sucking a beer mat. No, why produce tobacco if it kills us. It is not just money. It is a natural crop tobacco, until they start messing with it. No, It is not the smokers, it is packaged food, sprayed food, and cars. Simple as that. Wake up.

Hell mate Every thing is bad for us in one way or another and yeah i agree about US smokers being singled out and that it was a natural crop Until they stared messing with it If people really want to single out something bad for ones health Hell yes it is all the preservatives they add to our foods just so the stores can increase the shelf life NOW they play around with genetically altering plants by splicing in animal genes That can not be good Who knows what kind of health hazards this may cause to the people who may eat this crap or to the animal that eat it and are eaten by us ? If you do not want to be around people that smoke fine don't patronize Places THAT ALLOW IT BUT DON'T STOP US FROM BEING ABLE TO SMOKE ANYWHERE IN PUBLIC ESPECIALLY I N THE BARS AND PUBS

There are so many things these days that are bad for us, if we didn't want to expose our bodies to anything harmful we would have to seal ourselves up in an airtight room somewhere. You have to strike a balance between what's bad for you and what is potentially lethal. I agree with what you say about the food, up to a point, however, todays society demands "fast, convenience" foods, in the main, because of the busy lifestyles that they live, so additives extend the life of the product.. However..... your point about tobacco being a natural crop..... well, yes it is, but so is the poppy from which is derived "Heroin" and "opium", killer, class A drugs. The problems arise when we choose whether or not to partake of these substances. How can an addict possibly justify the obvious physical abuse of his/her body by claiming that their drug of choice is a "natural" product? In the same way smokers CHOOSE to risk damage to their body and lungs by smoking, there's no mystery, or blame to be attached to the manufacturers of cigarettes...... it's a personal choice. One small point though, people who smoke ...... STINK!!!! No offense intended!

why do you buy tobacco if you know and written clearly on the pack that its gonna kill you. yah cars and factories contribute on polluting, but we need these things, you don't need tobacco.

start the math of what do you need in life and what do you want. cars and other things were made to make life easier but now they've become so indespensable, we would find life so difficult without them.
atleast cars are a slow death than smoking and second hand smoking.

myself and a lot of other people who find it uncomfortable being around smokers are not worried about it killing us, especially in a pub when your having a few beers thats not what bothers us at all. Its the fact you stink, the air around you stinks, then i get home and i stink and my clothes stink. Generally, its just sucks to be in a smoky room if you're a non smoker. Sometimes smokers can be inconsiderate toward non smokers too with where they hold their cig and whether they think people around them will mind that they do it. .

You are correct. Here is what I think - instead of checking out
research, our 'leaders' are too busy going to political luncheons
& dinners to promote their party. Instead of following science,
they're too busy following the money.

Some of bills & laws they are trying to pass today, seem straight
out the 1940's to me. Science has discovered amazing things
about what's healthy - but, I'm not too sure anyone's paying
attention, except a small few.

With today's health care system being what it is, you would
think staying healthy would take priority.

everybody is at risk, of smoke from petrol and chemical in food, but with all these daily risk, some ppl go extra length to narrow down smoke right into the lungs, air storage of the body. thats y is very fucked up. if u get a particle of food in ur lungs mistakely, u cough till its out, just to say how sensitive it is. to me smokers are ppl that want to kill themselves and yoou know anybody capable of dooing that can kill another fellow.
measures are not suppose to be very harsh, these ppl have to realize they are hurting ppl next to them including babies.
i advise u to stop smoking now(is not that easy but give ur best shot).good luck

I quite agree with you that smokers are being singled out. You can see the 'fresh air inspectors' sitting at the little outdoor sidewalk cafes taking in all the street fumes, yet bitching if someone walks by with a lit cigarette. DUH??
