I have a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick with 116,000 miles on it. It has a 16 valve 4cylinder engine with a 3spd auto with overdrive. I replaced the sparkplugs, cylinderhead gasket, and sparkplug wires. When i start it, the engine fires but doesn't start. Sometimes it backfires a little on me.

You didn't wess with the ignition while changing the spark plugs, did you change the cap too! your timing may be off. First check to make sure you got the right gap on all of the spark plugs if it's turning over it may not be hitting enough plugs to egnite the gas. There are way too many problems that this could be so i hope this little bit helps
