how to you insert a tampon if there is skin tissue in your vagin*? I mean I tried inserting a tampon using a mirror and saw all of this tissue! ( I just got my period )I am curious

what you are seeing is your vagina..it is made of tissue..(and i am not talking kleenex) Read the directions that come in the box..the main thing is to relax take deep breaths..

Yah, try using pads first. You need to get used to your cycle first. You dont know if your a heavy bleeder or a light. You might be both, so you should figure that out first. The box directions help for tampons, try reading the directions first, then attempt. You might not be succesful with the first tampon, relax and try again. Goodluck! Read the instructions in the box really carefully ! They should have a pamphlet with pictures that show you how to insert them. Be careful with tampons they can cause toxic shock syndrome that can cause death , so make sure you have the correct absorbancy.

beingirl.com tells you everything you need to know 1 First have a period with pads and then after a few use tampons ! Talk to your mom about this !!

congrats on becoming a woman. im sorry i dont really understand what you are asking, but there is a pamphlet in the box that should help you. if you are afraid or having trouble you can always ask the doctor or use sanitary pads instead. good luck.
