If they stayed home then. All the schools and money wasting social programs could be closed. Women could home school their kids. And the job market would be better for men.

America would be much better with all the women taking care of kids

Go big Red Go

Yes I think you should do that, while your at it why don't you change your avatar to woman since your not even African American. The Neocons never cease to amaze me. You must be in Jr high school out on summer vacation.

Umm believe it or not, some families require two incomes, so how bout you make it where every job pays more than 100 dollars an hr and we'll talk, but seriously you need to sit and try to make that little brain work before asking such a question. We are just as capable and it has been proven that the female gender is a lot smarter than the male. If all the women in this country packed up and stayed home doing the whole wife thing, we would loose a lot of wonderful doctors, leaders and life changing people. I am going to be a mother soon and i am making it my choice to stay home with my child till he can go to kindergarten as long as we can afford it, but that is my choice and that is what america is about to begin with. We have the ability to make our own choices and i shudder to think some of the women that i know were forced to stay home rather then get to do the wonderful work they do. So no america would not be better.

Substitute any group for the word "WOMEN" in your question.

...should make it a law that ______ could not be employed?

people with disabilities
Blue-eyed people
Asian-Americans
Hispanics
Left-handed people
Gays
African-Americans
Haitians
Diabetics

Then realize the utter lack of respect you are showing women.
Some folks think it's okay to talk about women this way, because of some old traditional roles that some people still choose to live.
It is no more okay to talk about women this way, than to talk about any other group. When you realize that you are speaking derogatorily about women, and suggesting second-class status for women, you are doing the same thing people did ages ago when women and others did not have basic human rights.

Please realize genetics, XX or XY, does not and should not govern your freedoms.

Furthermore, the Redpublican or Republican party are not the only ones who make law.

Moreover, remember that not every family has a "man" in it to go out and be in the job market.

My mother works for the public education system. Have you never benefitted from a "money wasting" social program? Wow. If all women left the job market, especially during war time, that would be asking for the economy to crash.

Huh?! I'm a registered Republican and still think this question is nonsense! If the market demands skills that women have...

The job market is fine. We're not battling a huge unemployment rate.

Besides raising kids is a full time job for both parents if you want to go that route...outlaw divorce?! How could this situation even be--not every kid has both parents living togther with them or even has both parents alive.

I think they should tap every phone, imprison any dissenting voice, change the Constitution to reflect only Republican ideals, take the vote away from women and anybody not white or rich, completely remove any social program benifitting the poor...heck lock up the poor...abolish taxes for anyone making over $100,000, punish gays with public execution...not only allow rascism, but encourage it with tax incentives, and of course build a fence to separate the elite from the unwashed, Then it will be a perfect place for them. this would last a few years until we got tired of it and the "many" would take it back

Seriously?? Where the ____ did you think of that? School is a way to get children out of the house. Whether the mother is a stay at home mom or goes to work, she still gets more done. If not that, at least moms get a couple hours of sanity and order.

What are you smoking today?

Who is going to take care of all the kids that dead beat dads have abandoned?

Mothers.....that's who.

I agree with stay at home moms.
This is the highest job there is, in my opinion. Families with stay at home moms are generally more stable, with less divorce, HOWEVER....given the society we live in today...this is totally impractical.

Home schooling is not necessarily the best thing either. It works for some...not for all. You also are limited by the ability of the mother to understand the material...and be able to TEACH it to her child. Not all children respond favorably to mom teaching them. Just think of how many times your child has come to you with homework...not wanting your help...but for you to DO the work for them. I see the science projects....far above 4th grade level.

I'm conservative...I am home with my kids, when they are out of school....and I'm a teacher.

do you think the democratic party should make it a law that all rich people should be forced to support the lazy poor people??

if they did that, then all the poor people would stay home and never try to get a job or do better because it is easier to sit around and wait for your check.

life would be easier if you just sat around waiting for a check

.....wait a minute, the democrats have already done this

No the Democratic Party should make that law, it is much more in line with the socialism and borderline communism that the Democrats preach. The Republican party is more about freedom and deregulation not more laws.

Home schooled children are stupid. They lack social skills and their education is only as good as their mother's.
I do think women are losing their femininity and grace since they've entered the workforce and I would like to see more housewives.
