So if someone questions global warming it's because they want to look republican? That's quite a stretch for a premise. It's like saying don't you hate when people say global warming is true just because they want to look like Al Gore. Come on.

Meteorlogists can't even tell use what the weather going to be a month from now, but they are so sure we're going to burn up. In the seventies it was the next ice age now it's global warming.

Nor is it univerally held
* A Gallup poll found that only 17 percent of the members of the Meteorological Society and the American Geophysical Society think that the warming of the 20th century has been a result of greenhouse gas emissions - principally CO2 from burning fossil fuels.

* Only 13 percent of the scientists responding to a survey conducted by the environmental organization Greenpeace believe catastrophic climate change will result from continuing current patterns of energy use.

* More than 100 noted scientists, including the former president of the National Academy of Sciences, signed a letter declaring that costly actions to reduce greenhouse gases are not justified by the best available evidence.

Here's one question. If the human emmision of carbon dioxide has been going up since 1865, or whenever, then why were the 40's and 70's so cold?

Here's another. Why is it that when you track temperatures over the years that New York City shows a slight increase but Albany is colder?

One more. If humans are causing global warming and not mother nature then how go you explain the ice age?

The natural weather cycle has always changed and always will. I'm convinced that something is going on with the natural weather cycle of this little blue dot in the universe, but I'm not convinced that humans are solely to blame.

Most republicans don't even know the definition of liberal, but they chalk all of the environmental issues up to liberal leftists. They are lucky that there are liberals out there trying to make the world a better place for their offspring. They sure as hell are not capable of wrapping their brains around any scientific proof. Give them a dumb Texan in cowboy boots and they will swallow anything.

Yes, but there still might not be anything that can be done about it because it might be a natural cycle that the earth is going to go through about ever 4 to 8 thousand years. I know conservatives like junk science, but sometimes they don't have enough sense to tell the difference.

global warming is reality not politics. I is simple knowledge that ships can pass the northern passage of Canada (for many months as apposed to nill) there are very many more icebergs off of Newfoundland every year. Are you crazy to think that something is not happening.

it is fake--and just remember in the 1970's the gloom and doom democrats were yelling ice age. They claimed the pollution we were releasing was causing smog that would block the suns rays and we were all going to freeze in another ice age.

Well??? Where is that ice age???

Now the democratic morons led by al gore are yelling global warming.

In 30 years they'll be yelling ice age again.

VOTE REPUBLICAN and throw gore, bill, and hillary in prison where they belong.

That's the problem, people jumping on the band wagon without ever looking into it. Check the sudo-science and if you believe that I have some swampland to sell you, cheap.

I can always tell when Gore is lying......that's because his lips are moving.

I totally agree with you. It isn't fake!!! And it annoys me when people say it is! I can't stand that!!! People need to start facing reality. It's real, and it's affecting everyone. It's not just up to the next generation to fix it. It's up to everyone.

Yes, sometimes people can be so blind, gullible, and utterly just plain STUPID. The facts are there, it's been scientifically proved, and if people don't accept that we're all in for a surprise.
