Man, chirps are getting on my LAST nerves, even though I got one and I like the communication of it, but I'm sick as hell hearing them things!lol! Is you? The police be having them and I bet you one hundred grand they tapthem!

Yes I hate them. I can hear them go off in the background of different TV shows. And now my favorite show's detectives use them. Everytime I hear one I think it's mine. They should come up with options like ringtones. Chirp # 1 or chirp #2 or like somene going "Ahh!" or a cough. Anything but the noise they make now.

A "chirp" is a way for people who ahve phones w/ walkie talkie capibabilites to contact each other. & I don't even pay any attention any more.

i assume you mean nextel walkie talkie chirps? yes. they are quite irritating. seems people will think they're cooler by letting everyone else around them get in on their business. as if cell phones couldn't be annoying enough.

technically its illegal to tap a line unless it is national security or the person knows its being tapped(hearing a buzzing or beeping on the line counts as them making u aware they r listening)
