I am from Australia but I support the Yankees because of their tradition as the most storied team in baseball.
The Yankees have been Major League Baseball's dominant franchise. No team has won more pennants or World Series, and many of the game's biggest stars have been Yankees. The Yankees also have more championships than any other top league professional team.
