Actually Rice does not want to cease fire. Neither Bush or the United States. Rice is just another mistake in the Bush Administration. I really don't care if she goes or not. They will never solve anything because they have oil. After a while the United States will be invading Syria too and Iran. So it's not a question of if she should go or not.

As long as she is over there anyway, and trying to initiate peace talks, she might as well go since she has been invited. However, it may also depend on what the military brass back at D.C. think to ensure her safety.

At the rate that the Middle East is going right now, they may never have peace until all sides can sit down and work out an equitable agreement.

So, to answer your question: Yes, I think she should go.

I can't believe she went to Lebonon. She needs to stay away from fanatical Syria before she gets her head lopped off by one of those Islamic nuts. Syria is no better than Lebonon, the only one worse than Syria is Iran.

America should pull out of Iraq and go help Israel.

Go Israel!!!!
