First off, I was pro-choice...until I got pregnant and had a baby and I realized just what that meant.
Now, I feel the way I never dreamed I would feel. I am anti-abortion. But I also think that any time a country starts permitting a bunch a crusty old farts in the white house (almost always men) to take a way women's rights-or any rights, you are signing away far more than you realize.
That being said, I also think that it's not hard to figure out how babies are made (insert tab A into slot B) and it boggles the mind why there are women who still say, "But it was an accident!"
Pro-life and anti abortion mostly equate to the same thing...if you get pregnant have the baby.
But you ask a dangerous question here. The topic never leads to good things.
I think that there should be more available options for young girls who find themselves pregnant and alone...ASIDE from planned parenthood.
While I know that they try, as an organisation to help, I do not believe that they do enough to education young women (in fact they do nothing) about the after effects of an abortion. I've seen it happen and it's horrible.
I guess I will forever walk thin line on this topic. But I do admit that having had two children, the thought of terminating something so precious and wonderful absolutely breaks my heart.
I think that if you don't want to get pregnant either use birth control or keep your legs closed.
I know that sounds cold but it's just logical. No one HAS to get pregnant.

Nicely said..I'm a Catholic and we have been against abortion for ever, as long as it isn't over rape or incest. The Catholics have never gone against Roe V Wade because that is exactly what the legislation provided. Pro Life really isn't an issue, and is only made up from Neocons Looking for Supreme Court Justices. They wont ever change the legislation over Roe V Wade it's too clear.

It seems to me like most people contradict themselves. Why can't we just respect other peoples' decisions? How are we to decide what is right for another person? If I ever got pregnant unexpectedly, I would only abort the baby if it put my life in risk. But, I do not feel it right to force my opinions on others. Some have very good reasons for aborting babies; it is their choice, not yours.

I am anti-abortion with no exceptions. I am also very much against the war in Iraq and have great concern for all innocent people who suffer unjustly.
If you are at all interested in the topic of abortion, I recommend http://Abort73.com

The answer is obvious, if conservatives were truly "pro-life" there would be no death penalty, and no war in Iraq.

I'm also mildly opposed to the death penalty(although it's hard to get agitated about someone who probably deserves to die as opposed to an innocent baby being slaughtered).
