It is only human to hold fear of death, that's why we selfishly try to hold on to the idea that maybe there is something after... reincarnation, heaven, whatever.
Maybe there is something after life, maybe there isn't, in the end most people are afraid to die because we simply can't be sur about it.
Personally I don't think about death to much, whatever happens next I'll find out when the time comes, and if we can't avoid death, why bother being afraid and not just enjoy life?

Yes and no. Death will just lead to a different aspect of life for me. One I'm told will be much more pleasant than this one. But I haven't accomplished all the things that need to be accomplished here yet.
