Stinky has been peeing on my trailer carpet for years now and its not really so bad because it blends in with the carpet and we've gotten use to the odor. I want him to use the litter box and I tried putting cat litter on the carpet so stinky will think its the wild/woods, but shes alot smarter than i thought and she wont do it because she prefers to pee on the carpet. Whats weird is it smells kinda weird and taste really funny. Honestly i just dont care anymore so if stinky prefers the carpet i will let her do that. any advise is appreciated though

I think you have to stop pissing on the carpet, before you can train Stinky to stop pissing on the carpet. Stinky is most likely just remarking his territory, after you are done pissing on the carpet. Try letting Stinky see you sitting in the litter box taking a dump and reading a magazine. I’m sure Stinky is smart enough to know you can’t read, so he will look over to try and figure out what you're doing. And then maybe he will notice you're using the litter box, instead of the carpeting...

i exploit Cedariffic clutter. this is cedar sawdust and it has that advantageous fragrance which you get once you open a cedar chest. this is no longer stable sufficient to place off the cats, even with the undeniable fact that it facilitates mask their clutter container odors. it is likewise very gentle - the comparable length bag that weighs 20 pounds of alternative litters basically weighs 7 pounds. I take excitement in that once i purchase it and positioned across it homestead. much extra substantial than the clutter, I additionally use baking soda (bicarbonate of soda.) Arm & Hammer markets a "clutter container Deodorizer" that's baking soda in a container of merely the proper length to conceal the backside of a known sized clutter container, in the past you put in the clutter. I scoop the container each and each time I see some thing in it, and that i regulate the clutter and the baking soda each and every 3 or 4 days, while the clutter starts to look a darker colour. while the cats use the container the baking soda absorbs most of the scent, and the kitties get that clean baking soda fragrance on their paws. I even have the sweetest smelling kitties on the city, and an scent-loose clutter container. i don't be attentive to approximately putting the container in a closet. does no longer that merely maintain the scent and make it worse? i think of it may be extra proper in a properly ventilated place. it is going to additionally help in case you scoop the container as quickly as you get homestead, and whenever you notice that this is been used.

cut and scrape the piss-soaked carpet patch and put it in a box. Add litter each day and see if Stinky starts going there.

Otherwise, strip an extension cord and lay it under where Stinky pees- plug it in when she starts peeing.
