Depends on formal, informal, official, or casual.

" Greetings, Mr. President. How are you? " Then move as the circumstances lead. Or:

" Hello, Mister Bush, I'm so and so, pleased to meet you; " and take it from there.

Taking into account I'm apolitical and have sized up the world in a certain order, it doesn't matter if it's Mr. Bush or Mrs. Spandowski at the dry cleaners'.

You deal with people with a measure of courtesy, respect, and open frankness without being too familiar or forward, let alone insulting.

( That only logically happens when you're attacked or put upon for no reason. )

You should be at ease ( both of you ) because no man on this planet is a god.

I use the term ' man ' in this case in the generic indicator of all humanity. The way the question is phrased is a good indicator of how subliminally we are idolatrous.

Take into account it's a person.

Before the election, it was a person nobody'd ever heard of let alone cared about. Plenty of that generally. What does that say about us?

Hope this helps.

I would ask him to behave more like a president and stand up when the Prime Minister of Great Britian is speaking to you. Specifically, I would ask him to not act like a 60-year old swearing, swaggering frat boy smacking with your mouth full of food when the microphones are still on and the cameras are rolling. I would ask him if he thinks that anyone still takes him seriously after that incident or after his 3-year Billion dollar blunder in Iraq maintaining America's addiction to imported oil.

But then I'd probably be sent to Guantanamo as an "enemy combatant" and have my civil rights violated and my habeas corpus denied....

"Mr. Bush, how do you account for the overwhelming evidence of your ignorance, insolence, incompetence, and failure to show your intelligence; when there is so much that denies the slightest chance, that you would even have anything intelligent to say as a response to this question? You may speak now Mr. Bush, that is if you have anything INTELLIGENT to say."

I'd tell him that hes a jerk that has screwed up our country in every way possible. His Every child left behind act is hurting our school not helping them and has caused some to loose their music and art programs, some children are not capable of meeting those standards and it's too much to expect that they cna and the schools are jsut pushing them along.
he spends way too much time worrying about other countries and not nearly enough time worrying about ours. This war is a nightmare and we shouldn't be over there. Thansk to him our country is in a mess in just about every way possible.
