Say I wanted to use the name of they company Blizzard that makes games. What do I have to do to be able to use there name on my website?

You can't copyright a name. Period.
You CAN trademark a name. A trademark is used to distinguish goods of one kind from goods of another. As long as you aren't using a trandmarked name in association with goods that aren't associated with that trademark, you're free to use it as much as you like.

It depends on a number of factors & it's best to consult with a trademark attorney. There are instances, namely fair use or nominative use, where using another's trademark without permission is okay. However, each situation varies from the next -- there are no black & white areas in IP law, only gray. Again, consult a trademark attorney to ensure that what you're doing is okay.

You can mention Blizzard's name. If you're doing much more than that, you should probably determine if Blizzard has trademarked its name, and if so, add a registered trademark or copyright note. You can add the trademark notice by holding down the ALT key and typing 0153 (™), and you can add the copyright notice by holding down ALT and typing 0174 (®).
