Bananas rarely actually go bad. When they turn black they make the best banana bread. I think their peels are better protection than apple peels. And the other person is right, peaches are the worst for that.

A bad apple can and a bad peach or pear can too. Do not know about bananas. I know horrible kids can turn their friends to be bad too.

No. you just pluck the bad one out and throw it away. the rest still can be eaten.
Metaphorically, the answer is no as well. One bad person in a group doesn't mean the whole group is bad or useless.
