Zero. Think about it, if there are extraterrestrials and they're able to come visit earth they would be far more sophisticated than us puny Earthlings. They would be so far advanced in technology that we would not even be able to detect their presence unless they wanted us to know.

Countless but the word authenticated is problematic here because hoaxes are sometimes very clever and photographic proof is the easiest to fake. I am sure you have seen photos of Bush that have been manipulated into comical photos. The US government has a history of denying things if they don't have a real understanding of the problem or the facts, and the FBI denied the existence of the Mafia for many years. One of the earliest photos of a UFO was taken in China in 1949. The object was low in the sky and the picture shows the thing just above some power lines...it could have been faked but at the time, there were few reasons to want to do so with political problems being the biggest concern and after the conflict with the Japanese, most people were simply trying to survive, not fake UFOs. One of the most recent that I know of was a sighting near Shenzhen...not far from Hong Kong and a color photo of a long cyclindrical object high in the sky. The photographer used a normal lens and other than its shape, the silvery color, nothing more can be seen. The official China policy is that they don't exist...the same as in the US. There have been reported sighting from every continent and most often around specific areas. I just watched a film/documentary named "Alien Autopsy" that tells of a hoax carried out on the Roswell Incident and made two young Englishmen a lot of money. Watch it if you can.

Authenticated by who? True believers 'authenticate' each other all the time. Septics don't believe them.

none. or we would know for sure if they existed. We still have no clue.

Although, I find it hard to believe we are the only living things in the entire universe.

If I had to guess, I would say we are not alone.
