I think he is a great actor and has given some extra-ordinary performances especially in Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, L.A. Confidential and Cinderella Man I think he is probably a nice guy too but sometimes gets too passionate about things esp. his family and private life which is understandable but still does not justify violent outbursts. Still I think when he channels all that passion and energy into his roles then we all get to see some fantastic performances.

He's not bad, but certainly not the greatest - there are too many other greats out there to go and give it to Russel Crowe! But I respect it if it's your opinion.

No ..that would be Keanu Reeves..he is the greatest . Was Russell Crowe ever "THE ONE" Nope that would be Keanu..soo that means Keanu RULES !!!!

THe greatest at throwing phones at people and getting away with it but that's about it.
I think he's an OK actor but just OK!

Hes obnoxious and his band sucks too.
He was okay in Proof of Life I guess.
I just dont like his behavior...he isnt that great really and usually looks like he needs a bath.

Not really. He needs to curve his temper and his offensive remarks. I think it's a shame that such a nice looking man could have such a terrible attitude.
