i file them at least once a week. I want them to get very long and strong. How can i make them grow fast without them freying on the edges and me having to clip them? so in other words how do i make my nails grow faster, and stronger. but i dont have the money to buy all of that streghtening polish and all that stuff. so are there any home remedies or any cheap products?

the thing is to NOT cut or file the corners of the nails...let them grow like square, then shape the ends of the nails. it makes for a stronger base, so the whole nail is straightened!

I know this isn't wuite what you wanted but my nails always delaminate on the ends despite a good diet and the best possible upkeep/care of them. When I want them long I just go to the nail salon and have an acrylic coat put over them. Sure they are brittle when you have it taken off, but it gives you a chance to get them long and have them be durable and nailpolish stays on better.

I have always had really long nails naturally. What you need to do is file your nails from corner to center, filing them in a back & fourth motion causes them to split. Don't use a metal file, those also cause splitting. To keep them strong you should use Sally Hansen's advanced hard as nails as a base & top coat, it really helps. Your remover should also have a strengthener in it,or you can get one with geletin.
