Chat or phone call?

Would you rather communicate by chat or phone?

I like to chat with people
I don't know, or new friends,
especially cyber friends,
because...well...it's just
more comfortable I guess.

I'll talk on the phone or chat with
people I know well, anytime.

Now, when it comes to long distance...
chatting online is free. You can chat
for hours and not pay a penny for it,
whereas a long distance call would
certainly cramp your conversation
because of cost.

It depends on what kind of mood I'm in and who it is I'm communicating with. Some people I'd rather talk to on the phone and some people I'd rather chat with.

Before I met the girl of my dreams, I treated IM's the same as I treated phone calls with potential dates that I met. Instant messenger is just another gate, you might say, that you have to get past to go on a date with her. If there's one thing women like that'll get you in the door, it is a man with confidence. It doesn't matter if it's a chat online or a phone call, what matters is what you say in any case with the opposite sex.

Phone. I like to hear if i've made someone laugh, or their tone of voice. I think you get a better vibe from hearing the sound of someones voice.

phone calls definately, Chatting is so in-personal, someone could get up and walk away and you could still be typing and not know it

I like phone calls because they are more personal.

I like chats because they're more convenient and non-obtrusive.
