Actually, their sizes are quite similar. Banana Republic on the other hand owned by Gap Inc, clothing sizes run larger! All three keep trying to change their clothing sizes to give the best fit based on the average person for that particular size.
I don't think you can compare shoes. All manufacturers shoes run differently
By the way, Gap's maternity line runs very large.

Yep, Old Navy and The Gap has similar clothes and they also fit the same. Really, the only diffence between them is that Old Navy is pretty cheap compared to Gap. ;)

Old Navy runs a little bit bigger, not sure if it's a full size or not. Size inflation has been really bad at Old Navy over the past few years while Gap's sizes have stayed more consistant.

im not a regular shopper at gap but i went there today and usually i am a large and the shirt fit me super big and the medium fit me perfect but then again i would go with the other answers.

i wouldnt think so, i feel gap is an bigger size or they carry bigger sizes i suppose but i dunt knw u would have 2 ask an professional that knws clothes well.But, iu could always head dwn to gap and try them on.dont they do refunds????

um dont think so i tried on size 10 shoes at o.n. and they were like 11s and at g. they were 9
