My tree was my GF last winter, kept me company all winter long, as a matter of fact she's still up, but in the bedroom now.

Yes! I have 3, one upstairs, one downstairs, and one out in the breezeway. The neighbor came over and said," oh, you put a tree up for the neighbors!" She was right, I did.
One is decorated with cardinals, the bird, not Cardinals' Fredbird. It is 7 feet, prelit with white lights. I have a nice tree skirt with cardinals.
I have a 9 foot upstairs, it has collectibles on it.
The one in the breezeway we call Charlie Brown Tree. It was the first tree I ever bought, and after almost 30 years of use, is looking more than a little sad, I can't throw it away!. It is a Mountain King, and cost $65, back then, that was a lot to pay for a tree. I was 23, and had just moved out of my parents house into a apartment. My mother was very thrifty, I thought she would die when I bought lights and ornaments for it. I didn't have a lot of furniture then, I was still sleeping in the bed I had since childhood. These days it has color lights and those cheap glass mulicolor balls from Walmart. But it began a tradition of buying a few ornaments every year, my friends help watch for the good stuff, and add to the collections.
I almost have enough ornaments for a fourth tree, a want a pink tree with white lights, and I am well on my way to that goal.
Wish I could have a fresh tree every year, but some of the ornaments are just too heavy for it.
To the person who would rather have gifts than a tree, the tree is a gift, to myself and every guest in my house. It says Christmas is celebrated here.
And as I said, my friends gift me with ornaments. Part of the thing is from my parents. They were older than the rest of the kids' parents, and my Mom was sickly. And what do two parents get for a adult child? Not clothes! So they ordered from catalogues, and bought collectables.
I love my friends tree! It is mostly hand made ornaments, she has spent a lot of time on it. And my other friend has a gold, beige, crystal, white tree. It is color-coodrdinated with the room it is put in.
One year, I was off work around Haloween because I has to have some surgery. I was bored, and carried the tree upstairs, a couple branches at a time. During trick or treat, I was hanging ornaments between door-bell rings. I left the tree up well into Arpril that year, my health wasn't good. My friends still tease me about it.
Merry Christmas in July.

I adore Christmas Trees. Last year we had three huge ones, and 1 small, all decorated differently. This year I'd like a few more.. 1 huge, 1 smaller, and small dresser size ones. I'm shooting for a very Merry Christmas theme this year.. all gifts homemade as well.

I love them. I think it should be a family affair putting them yp. You should read "The Legend of the Christmas Tree" It explains what every aspect of the tree stands forThe twinkling for the lights are so peaceful to me.

Ok, I moved house just before Xmas last year, so had to buy a new tree, because my old one was way too small for my big living room. It was sooooo beautiful decorated with white, silver and gold, I took loads of pictures and I was really annoyed that I had to take it down in Jan.
Oh well not that long before Dec 1st! hahahaha!!!

I love Christmas and feeling you get at that time of the year. I love to give and see the faces on the people who receive.

I like Christmas trees because they make your house look like you believe in Jesus Christ.
