why would you want to, it would be a nightmare, all those survivors to feed, people complaining night and bloody day, corporate organisations to deal with, logistics, medical care, food distribution, rebel groups, you would have to have eyes in your bum and not be able to trust anybody, even if you were a good ruler, you would still have insurgents, disgruntled people all the time.
I tell you what, work in retail for a while, this will put you off people for good, then you wont want to conquer the world, just get away from it..

It's really very simple. Make up a religion, then get an army of loyal servants(hopefully your army is also part of your relgion). Then pressure each nation into signing a peace agreement. Then you make your empire pay you like 2% of the GNP of all the world. Or or could make everything free for yourself. Of course, you'd need to let the people carry on with their lives.

Well i'll tell ya how not to do it. DON'T DO IT WITH ROBOTS. They will turn on you and kill you and take over the planet without you. DON'T GET DISTRACED BY SHINY THINGS. My sister was on the way to conquer the world but she was distraced by something shiny. DON'T CONQUER THE WORLD WITH MUTATED ANIMALS. Cause I am an animal activist and i'll kill you while sleep unguarded by those mutants. #1 RULE. DON'T ANNOUCE YOUR PLAN. Cause then some idiot in tights will kick you can to the curb.

Copy what Hitler did. but do it better than he did. Do you want to start a genocide by any chance? I would say one man alone can do alot of damage but to take over the world you need to start your own army of loyal people who fight by your side.
