First of all what is the age limit for working? Second, you should call your school district. I know that here in California my kids have to go through the school district to get theirs but they also have to be 15 3/4 to get one.

Sorry kid,but FEDERAL law says you have to be at least 16 to work non farm jobs or unless you're sponsored by a work program at school. And even then, you can only work part time till you're 18.

Well, I know I grew up in a different state (Md) but I was able to get mine at school. They had them in the front office. It's just a thought.
