A few years ago Alex made sure he'd be the highest paid player in baseball for a long time to come. Unfortunately now he isn't playing like that. He is still the most productive 3B in the AL, but he is definitely NOT playing like the best player in baseball. In other places that might fly under the radar, but not in New York. He signed the contract so he'll have to put up the numbers to go along with it or deal with the criticism.

Yeah. Yankee fans should be more supportive of A-rod. He'll come around. He just needs some support. He may not be as well as he usually does this season but look at what he's done in the past. Last year he was the MVP. People just have to remember that.

Give him a break? If he would throw over hand maybe he wouldn't make these errors. He leads the majors in errors, you can't play like him and get paid however much he gets paid. I think A-Rod needs to get his butt in gear or New York will be a nightmare for him.

Could be....but the man is making $25 million a year.
When you make that kind of money you should be able to produce up to that level.

If he made less money, he wouldn't be hearing it as much. Personally, I'd rather have David Wright on my team in the long run.

Arod is a great player and will be back to his all star playing ways soon, he is just going through a slump.
He picked a great time to have his slump though, he was playing against the Jays.
