They were around before H registration and came out every summer time over a number of years to coincide with the French Open. Metallic green paint, alloys, electric windows, cream leather trimmed seats and red seat belts to match the colour of the clay courts. Very nice if you wanted luxury but engine choice was disappointing, 1360cc Bosch fuel injected twin cam gave 80 bhp, fairly nippy, but not in the same league as the 1.6 or 1.9 GTIs which were around at the same time.

i'm a " constrained version " thank feck, there will be not greater :o) I certainly have some, a series of cd's that have been constrained to 3000 in step with reproduction and that i ought to nicely be the only individual interior the united kingdom who has a dvd which good factors many hours of movies , interviews and gigs/television shows from the origonal Molly Hatchet line up which includes the previous due super Danny Joe Brown , have been given a duplicate from a guy contained in united states of america for a number of funds...actually it became custom made for followers. :o)

Had a shot in one ages ago when I worked in a garage, I personally didn't like it but I dont really like French cars due to the foot pedals being so close together, but it was a very nice car, there's some info on it here.

nice car at the time but the nicer model was called the Gentry it had the 1900i engine leather trim and all the electrics, dont know if they made a manual transmission version though.

it came in petrol or diesel with posh paint jazzed up interior radio cassette.there was about 1000 for the uk market 3 and 5 door.if memory serves me right there was a 1.4 petrol and a 1.7 diesal nice car at that period.

the wife has a 1.9 tdi roland garros, its a bloody 205, ok so its got bells and whistles... but its a piece of frog junk...

They are quite rare, and are worth a lot of money if in good condition, most people keep them and reluctantly sell them...
