I have a portable dishwasher Whirlpool SDF78OON1 Im having a hard time getting the right spigot clamp to get it to work. I cant take the part to Home Dep or Loews because its attached to the the hoses. Its the kind where you push down and on the sink, then release it and it is supposed to lock.
HAY can I just put the thing in a bucker of water and do dishes that way? Will the hose suck the wayter up and into the dishwasher?

That won't work. The dishwasher needs pressure from the sink faucet to work. You may want to go to a large old style hardware store and talk to an older guy, chances are they can hook you up with the right adaptor. You can also buy a variety of adaptors at Lowe's or Home Depot, and take back what doesn't work, just don't expect any knowledgable sales help. I checked the Whirlpool website but nothing came up for the model number you gave. Good luck.
