I don't know, but I wish I could go there and see where Joseph Campbell lived, and worked. +()+()+ Nah, if I went to Hawaii, I would visit every island, and never leave.

Volcano National Park...take helicopter tours of that and of the landscape in general to see great views of waterfalls.
House of the Sun...a really good spot where you can view a sunrise.
Mauna Kea observatory
The Pearl Harbor Memorial
The Tsunami Memorial
That big surfing spot, Maui or Oahu.

I went to Maui 2 years ago and I suggest you go to the 7 Sacred Pools up in the mountains and Mt. Haleakala which is a dormat (or extinct, can't remember) volcano. Also, if you go between the months of Feb-Nov, Humpback Whales are all over cause they come down to Hawaii to mate and have their babies. They originally come from Alaska. Hope this helps!

Depends on what you want to do and what islands you are going to,
Go to Maui: see
1) Lahaina (great food, great shops, etc) great Luau
2) Ka'anapali Beach (ranked the best beachin the world, and it is)
3) Sunrise at the top of a volcano
4) snorkle on your own near Black Rock (jutting out from Ka'anapali Beach)
5) See the active volcano in Oaho
6) Parasail or take helocopter ride, something daring, yet really safe

Everywhere is beautiful, try and get to one of the more remote islands. Na Pali coast, Kauai is beautiful!
