What do you think about people who search for love in a site like this one? Do you think it is sane, logic?Do you believe that one can find something real in a site like this?

It is Not my situation... I just want to know your views on it...

I personally think that it can not be 100% real... There's always something that one can be lied on... Relationships can only work with personal 1 to 1 daily sharing...

Does not the answer to your question first depend on ones definition of love? Along with that, are you asking this in respect to the giving of love, the receiving of love or both views?

One can be loved and not even realize it until he or she is exposed to the source of that love. Likewise one can be in love with a set of standards or guidelines and not truly realize it until such is exposed or recognized in an experience. Thus in both instances the meeting of someone anywhere or any place could trigger the realization of an existing quality and quantity not prior accepted to exist.

Could it be that for some unknown reason one is directed to search here because on this site is the one designed to be loved by the other? Is it at all possible in your thoughts that maybe humankind is not always in control of his circumstances, experiences, and actions? Have you ever considered the possibility that someone or something is actually directing all events and actions? For an example, Might there be a God who has a plan and is in control?

I do agree that your question does require some thought. This is partly because it does not seem to most that one would seek a love or lover on this site. However I have found in my past experiences many do what is not expected at times.

I have to think of some words I read that say, "seek and you will find". If one takes those words seriously, absolutely one can find what he is seeking most anywhere so why not on this site.

My personal view is I would not seek love on the internet, for I am by nature a face to face individual. However that does not mean I can not find one on the internet that I can love for it has already happened to me within my defined position of the word love. Just know my position or definition may be quite different from your defined position or definition of love.

I've made friends in on-line forums. Met up with some of them when I travel or even at specific gathering people had organized.

It seems more likely and easier if it is a more specialized site (pets, construction, a hobby, whatever) because then you have more in common.

But other than co-workers, who else do you spend hours a week (a day?) with for months on end? You end up getting to know people pretty well, usually. I'd worry about the pervs in chat rooms, but in forums with real content, everyone has seemed like their on-line personas when I've met them in person. Just fatter and balder. Maybe it is like the chat room pervs! .

I haven't done it, but I know of more and more people who've met romantic partners on-line. Mostly on match.com, yahoo personals, etc. But some on line forums.

I think that its insane to 'search' for your true love on sites not made for a love connection. just go to eHarmony or match.com and find the person there. however, if you happen to stumble upon a person and you become a perfect match, then just make sure you meet in a safe place and you'll be good. afterall, love can come from the strangest places.

I think that it is possible. Sometimes when looking for love, you just arent looking in the right places or you are just a little bit shy and these sights help a little bit. It all depends on the person(s).
